Halloween!

Can you believe its October already! Jeez where has this year gone! Seen some Halloween stuff in stores since late August!!! but due to me moving home soon I'm limiting the Halloween decoration budget to a few pumpkins to carve and some Halloween candy for my pumpkin basket! Already started xmas shopping though! I love this time of year! xox

Third Year

So im a couple of weeks into my third and final year now! I've started off well with a very organised schedule each week and keeping up to date on work! My idea for my minor project is a geometric/origami/papercraft themed gift range. Heres a peek at the first few drawing sheets ive done and my summer sketchbook!

Happy Inside

I seen this ad online a few months ago and instantly fell in love with it! I love Ikea and i especially love kitty cats so i'm sure this was made for me! Oh and the beautiful music in the background is Pianni by Mara Carlyle ♥
 

Wilko's xmas range in store now!

Had a quick look at the start of the Wilko's christmas stuff which has just came in store! Found this lovely gift wrap for just 80p for 8 metres! Its quite thin but fine for wrapping boxes!

Also spotted these card packs, £1.98 each (pack of 15 with 2 designs) or two for £3! xox

T W E N T Y O N E

Today is my twenty first birthday! I'm spending it at the aquarium and wagamamas during the day and then having a small party on the night! Put so much time into planning it, it's amazing to see it all coming together! Couldnt have done it without my wonderful parents, my boyfriend Dean and my best friend Jess! Looking forward to seeing old friends and having an exclusive performance in my front room tonight by the wonderful Jez Lowe! Photos soon!

Long Time No See!

Havent posted a new blog for a while! Ive recently been on on summer vacation from university but i've been keeping busy!

I spent two weeks in Holland on holiday with my family at the start of summer. It allowed me to totally chill out at open my mind to get inspiration whilst i was there! I found some amazing stores and beautiful towns which really helped me get some ideas for my final year. I spent my first week in a little town called Delft, I loved the touristy feel of this and i got to watch the world cup final in a gorgeous little character pub which was fantastic! My second week was in Beekse Bergen safari camp where i could swim in a warm lake,had to speak dutch all the time and was camping next to the giraffe home! The safari park here is amazing and i felt so lucky to see the animals so close! It was also great taking in the tiny little places nearby including a amazing little curios shop!

Once i was home I began my summer sketchbook for my final year at uni. My first idea turned out to have so many possibilities i decided to leave that until my major project! Instead after researching a few other smaller ideas i decided to go for a geometric themed gift project looking at origami and papercraft too.
